JFMS celebrates a decade of growth

The Journal of Feline Medicine and Surgery (JFMS) team celebrates the journal’s 10th anniversary and its new monthly format in the Hyatt Hotel, Birmingham on April 2. JFMS contributors and supporters attended the event held during BSAVA Congress.

Dr Sheila Robertson, who works in the anaesthesia and pain management department at the University of Florida, receives a JFMS Star Award from Andy Sparkes, Editor of JFMS, for the most downloaded paper at the JFMS celebration in the Hyatt Hotel, Birmingham on April 2. Co-written with freelance consultant anaesthesiologist Dr Polly Taylor, the paper entitled ‘Pain management in cats ­ past, present and future,’ was published in two parts and downloaded a total of 5744 times. Star Awards were also presented for the most cited JFMS paper, and most published author.
