Forgotten how to login?

Go to the login page (above). Enter your username (first and last name entered in your account profile no space between them) and your password in the boxes at the upper right hand corner of this page.

How to activate your personal account for the first time

To activate access and to create your personal account, you will need your Elsevier Customer Reference Number. This can be found on the mailing label of ther paper issue of the JFMS.

The Customer Reference Number has to be entered at:

https://www.sciencedirect.com/jfms/activate/esfmmembers

This is the page you should see:

Enter your number and click continue. This brings you to the screen below:

Click on Register Now

This brings you to the screen below:

Enter your information and choose a password.

Note - please do NOT use special characters, such as ö, ä, æwhen entering your personal details into the profile form.

Your "username" will be created from the first and last name you have entered.

Once you have submited the information you can login at:

http://www.sciencedirect.com/jfms

Enter your username and password in the login bar at the top of the page.

In the future you can go straight to: http://www.sciencedirect.com/jfms and enter your personal username and password in the login bar on the top of the page.
