As a charity the Feline Advisory Bureau is 100% reliant on generous contributions made by cat-loving individuals and organisations.

This support is vital to us and allows fab to go on significantly improving the health and welfare of cats. The need to fight against disease, and to learn more about the physical and mental needs of our felines is ongoing and with your help we can continue to make a difference.

There are many different ways which you can help us carry out our important work. You can send a donation, remember fab in your will or fund a post in feline medicine.

However you decide to help, your support will be greatly appreciated.

fund a post in feline medicine

You may wish to donate all, or a substantial amount towards the cost of funding a post at a veterinary school exclusively in support of feline medicine. This can be for either a veterinary surgeon or a veterinary nurse and you will be able to choose a name for the post, eg. The FAB Smith Residency/Lectureship in Feline Medicine.

If you would like to donate in this way, please be aware that the posts needed in future years, or what they will cost, cannot be forecast accurately. The cat population and the diseases affecting them do not follow a constant pattern so we need to retain the flexibility to apply our resources where and when they will do most good for cats and their owners. We would therefore ask you to contact the fab office to discuss your wishes for the funding of a feline post.
